Been Bullied? There’s help available.

In honor of Bullying Prevention Month,  I wanted to share with you another website that I found that will help you if you are:

  • a kid who is being bullied,
  • a kid who is a witness to the bullying of somebody else and you don’t know what you can do to help them, or
  • a parent or teacher who needs training or resources to help you identify signs that somebody is being bullied, target bullying behavior, or need help addressing bullying behavior.

This website is called The Bully Project at www.thebullyproject.com and it was inspired by the film, Bully.  Bully is actually a documentary.  According to the website, over 13 million American kids will be bullied this year.  Bullying is the most common form of violence experienced by young people in the nation.  If you don’t know what you can do to help, visit this website and together we can all put an end to bullying forever.
