More Hanna Andersson Dresses !

You know how I love my Hanna Andersson dresses!  But remember a while back when I said if you find an outfit that works for you, you should buy it in more than one color.  Well, that’s what my mom did again.  I also have the same dress in pink.  I wore it during the first week of school and blogged about it a few weeks ago.  Here it is again in two other colors.  When the weather gets colder, I plan to wear it with a long sleeved t-shirt or turtle neck underneath (maybe in a color that matches the color of the bow on each dress) and I can keep on my leggings and wear boots or I can wear jeans underneath.  Stay tuned to see all the cute outfits I make using this versatile dress.

What a Week – Surviving in Style!

New school.  New dance studio.  And I have to do it all over again this week!  And the week after.  And the week after.  Good thing I had so many cute outfits to cheer me up each day.  Change is hard, but at least I got to do it in style.  I showed you my first day of school outfit on Tuesday.  Take a look at what I wore to school the rest of the week.

So, I Got a Thing for Jewelry!

I love jewelry!  And I never leave home without it.  Most of my jewelry is inexpensive because I’m a kid.  I got most of it from Justice.  I love earrings and necklaces the most.  I have a set of breakfast food earrings with fried eggs and strips of bacon and toast.  I have pickle earrings and gummy bear earrings and earrings that look like colored pencils.

I also have a lot of necklaces.  I have a necklace that I bought from Etsy.  It has a rock, a piece of paper, and scissors hanging from a chain.  I also have feathers, a bottle of glitter, a strawberry with jewels on it, a teddy bear, headphones, the letter A, a little pink Chihuahua, stars, more gummy bears, a set of moustaches, a crystal ball, a cat, a fairy, a dolphin, and a rubber ducky bottle cap necklace.

I have two special pieces of jewelry that my big sister, Ashley, bought me.  The first one is a sterling silver charm bracelet.  I have a ballerina and a cell phone charm on it.  The other is a butterfly necklace.  It is 14K gold.  So, I only wear it for special occasions.

Finally, I have lots and lots of earrings in all colors – buttons, dolphins, round balls, koosh balls, silver sparkly bows, and several colors of pearls, owls, and rubber ducks, and flowers, and smiley faces, and too many more to even tell you about.  I keep all of my earrings in a cool jewelry box that my sister bought me for Christmas a couple of years ago from Pottery Barn Teen.  It’s called the Chloe Swivel Jewelry Storage in white.  So, as you can clearly see, I got a thing for jewelry, all right!  It’s one thing to have on a cute outfit, but if you have a special accessory or two it will make your clothes look even better!  For me, those accessories are always jewelry – earrings and a necklace.

Easy Breezy Dresses – Great for Summer!

You know how much I like dresses – I like them a lot! I have quite a few dressy dresses, but I also have dresses that are pretty casual too. This blog post is devoted to my casual dresses. They are made of the same cotton as a tee-shirt and I can wear them in lots of different ways – with long sleeve tee-shirts underneath or without, with my Converse or with flats, but ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS with my signature pair of leggings underneath! Hey, that’s my look, okay! And yes, you’re going to notice that apparently I have a thing for stripes. These dresses are so casual that I am going to take them all to Disney World with me. It’s hot where I live, but it’s plenty hot in Florida this time of year too! I have some new leggings and they are capri leggings, so I can keep cool in my casual dresses while I’m riding the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! They are perfect for summer weather.
